Yoga Retreats
‘YOGA ALLOWS YOU TO FIND AN INNER PEACE THAT IS NOT RUFFLED AND RILED BY THE ENDLESS STRESSES AND STRUGGLES OF LIFE.’
BKS Iyengar
The Iyengar yoga retreats are suitable for all levels of yoga experience. Everyone will work within their own capability with attentive instruction and correction. One will discover the time-honored techniques that help people take better care of themselves.
A life lived on overload affects health, sexual function and reproduction, relationships, job performance, athletic performance and most important, our sense of self. It is imperative that we take care of ourselves; otherwise life’s stresses will make us unable to care for those that depend on us.
The yoga retreats will release you from the destructive forces of stress. Yoga lifts our state of mind and the state of our body. It makes you feel good, it’s relaxing, it’s energizing and it’s strengthening. Yoga enhances your experience of life, more peace of mind, better health, more enthusiasm for life and an ever-growing sense of well-being.

Feedback from Retreat Participants
Michael and I are still talking about how transformational this weekend was for us! As we retire from a hectic academic life and seek more balance, it seems as if this retreat was the ideal context for us to re-align our goals and aspirations. Thank you so much for the gentle, principled and humane way in which you taught us. You have left an indelible imprint on our minds, not just as a yoga teacher but as a human being! The photos are a wonderful reminder of an inspiring weekend!
